Comments: This John Crews ICON worm jig rod is perfect for many situations. I own 3 of them and I prefer to use them for dragging a jig, throwing a shakey head 3/8oz or bigger, and flipping a Texas rig around. Love the grips and the rod is extremely sensitive.

Comments: Icons are overrated IMO. I am not a fan of the new blanks! Not worth the money.

From: JP: Richmond 1/12/22

Comments: Fantastic rod! I have the 7'2" MH Wormin' Rod, it has been exactly what I'm looking for in a jig and worm rod. Super premium finish on the rod overall. Feels and look great in the hand. Sensitivity is really good. I'll say sensitivity isn't above the price point, if you're looking for $400 sensitivity in a $250 package, this ain't it. That said strikes feel great and I can feel my structure bug kicking on a fall. The action on this rod is probably the best feature. Hooksets are great, it'll blow through a gill plate left, right, top, or bottom 100% of the time. It's a little softer than a conventional MH, but in a way that makes you fell like you're getting all the power to the fish, rather than a fairy wand-y sort of way. I fish braid to flouro with an Alberto knot, absolutely no guide issues in the slightest. Only complaint is the grip is a little thin for my taste, good for palming the reel, but you have to palm the reel or it will roll in your hand on the hookset.
