Overview
Developed for situations when anglers want to utilize the hover strolling technique around cover, the Core Tackle Weedless Hover Rig allows anglers to fish through brush and weeds without snagging. Perfect for targeting fish with forward-facing sonar units, the Core Tackle Weedless Hover Rig features lead poured along the shank of the hook and in front of the line tie to distribute the weight throughout the soft plastic instead of being isolated at the head like a traditional jighead. Built to create a more natural horizontal fall that glides side-to-side or spirals and absolutely drives fish crazy, each jig also features a wire weed guard that's more stealthy than traditional fiber weed guards and helps the hover rig deflect off rocks, wood, and dock pilings.
Maximizing efficiency and saving soft plastics as well, the Core Tackle Weedless Hover Rig is much faster and easier to rig than other hover stroll rigs that use a non-weighted jig hook and nail weight combination, reducing wear on soft plastics so you can catch more fish per bait. Offered in a wide arrangement of sizes that pair with all sorts of finesse soft plastics, the Core Tackle Weedless Hover Rig is perfect for hover strolling in or around cover.

Comments: I caught a 10 pound Bowfin at FORT SNELLING STATE PARK on the 29th of Sept. 2023 around 5:30 pm. 1/32 oz hook with a Z-MAN TRD TICKLE, I used a medim- light rod, 10 pound FIELD & STREAM FLORO fishing line. Very good hooks; I'm going to use the large 7/0 Tush on my 9" 6TH-Sense Panorama for Pike and Musky here in Minnesota.

Comments: This is not only a super unique way to use the hover rig for sonar but it goes far beyond that. These are great for any type of fisherman. Throw just about any soft plastic you could imagine on these and just let the bait glide. Beaver style baits, worms, flukes, creature baits, you name it! Start with the 3/64 and the 1/8 ounce ones and go slay some bass.

Comments: These things are flat out awesome! Incredibly versatile and they get BIT, period! I caught a 5 ½ largemouth on the 1/O hook with a KVD Caffeine Shad and had no problems keeping it pinned and getting it in the boat. Can't recommend these highly enough!

Comments: The Core Tackle Hover Rig has been a great fisher catcher for me. Pair these heads inside a Basstrix Flash Trix and it's game over. I have caught multiple 5 pound plus fish on this rig. Great products.

Comments: This is an amazing piece of terminal tackle, very versatile, can work with about any soft plastic bait. I flip em, pitch em, hover stroll em, skip em under docks and overhanging trees! These things are awesome!! Matt Stefan and Johnny Schulz did an amazing job on these, such a smart design. Nothing else like it on the market. Can't wait til they come out with the different sizes they've been talking about!!

Comments: These things are legit! Best kept secret of this season! Get yourself a couple packs before everyone catches on! Caught a buzzer beater 3 pounder with 10 minutes to go in yesterdays tournament. I'm sold.

Comments: Very versatile, you can use it for hover strolling as intended, but they also work well in a Neko rig, as a weighted soft jerkbait/fluke hook, skipping under docks, bouncing along the bottom with a smaller creature bait... Use your imagination, I'm sure I didn't think of everything. Also, the wire weed guard is easy enough to cut off if you don't need it, but I've never noticed it getting in the way of hook sets. Search YouTube for videos showing how to rig these, it's simple but not exactly obvious if you've never seen it done before.

Comments: This is the biggest thing that could have happened to a hover rig. 80% of all soft plastics will work great on this hook. Matt Stephan and Johnny Schultz invented this thing and if you need to know how to use it, go to their websites. Trust me, it's a killer.
