Overview
Built to provide anglers with big fish fighting power at an affordable price, the Daiwa Eliminator Spinning Reel features Daiwa’s signature HardBodyz anodized aluminum frame and side plate to form a strong rigid housing. Comments: Great spinning reel for "budget minded guy." I set out to find a spinning reel at the $100 range, of course narrowed it down to Shimano & Diawa. At first, I picked the BG, but after a visit to a bait & tackle shop, doing a head to head comparison of the reels, I saw the Eliminator. With the reels on display, I put each to the test. The Eliminator and BG are almost identical, but i chose the Eliminator because of it's feel and look. I've took it out many times in the last few months, i use it for my inshore and back channel fishing. So far, I like it !!
