Comments: 7'2" medium review: Nice rod for the money if you can find an action that suits your needs. First fish at Skinner lake CA on this rod was a 3lb14oz largemouth on 8lb Sunline Sniper/Quantum accurist spinning reel. Handled it like a champ, not a bad first fish for a new setup. Casts really well actually. Nice tip action which is in-between fast/moderate, just wish they had a med/lt version rated for 1/16oz-1/2oz with an extra fast tip. As is, it's quite versatile since it has a really strong backbone, drop shot to jerkbaits even- no problem here. Light and surprisingly sensitive, definitely a step above bargain rods. Fishes more like a $100.00-$120.00 class rod. Bought this in lieu of the Lew's KVD 7'2" med lt rod being out of stock and all. Can't say I regret the purchase, but I was hesitant on the lower price at first and took a gamble. Daiwa packs a lot of rod in for the price here. Fuego's are noticeably lighter than the Procyon rods (which are better for inshore saltwater) in respective sizes. Nice little bass rod for the money, all considering. Since it's low price I really don't have any complaints the blank is really good.
