Overview

Designed and crafted with the looks, specs, and features of custom high end rods, yet affordably priced, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Spinning Rods embody the idea of pushing outside of the norm. Loaded with advanced Daiwa technologies, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Spinning Rods feature braiding-X technology to prevent torsion caused by casting and hooksets, while dramatically improving power, operability and sensitivity. Also equipped with X45 technology, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Spinning Rods use a 45 degree bias construction to prevent blank twisting for improved strength, without sacrificing sensitivity.

Unlike typical carbon rods, which have a higher resin content in the space between the carbon fibers, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Spinning Rod employ HVF (High Volume Fiber) blanks, which use less resin throughout the fiber compound. Finished with a carbon fiber Air Sensor reel seat for improved connectivity, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Spinning Rods are ready to defy expectations of what an affordable rod can be.

Features:

-Braiding X technology
-X45 technology
-Air Sensor reel seat
-Rebellion nut
-Limited 5-Year Warranty

Comments: The rods punch well above their weight. These rods are super light, super sensitive and super sexy. I was blown away by the sensitivity. When it comes to bottom contact finesse presentations, I usually go out with two spinning rods, the 7ft ML Rebellion and a Megabass Landsat and I find myself constantly picking this one up over the Landsat and this Rebellion is half the price.

Comments: I'm a Diawa & Shimano guy, who recently broke my medium rod w/ Tatula 3000 & was in need of a new medium rod. I'm always browsing Tackle Warehouse for needs, wants and keeping an eye out for things to add to my arsenal. Since my Shimano line up is an Expride b with a Vanford 3000, i wanted my Daiwa line up to be on or close to, the same level as that. I did some research thru social media and local tackle shops (i trust) and purchased the new Daiwa Rebellion JDM medium-fast rod. I have enjoyed this set up, it's a light, well balanced rod, that cast very well. Only complaint, like most JDM rods, no hook keeper

Comments: As the other reviews have said, this is a no joke fast tip rod. It really acts like an x fast, which has its place as long as you know what you are getting when you buy this rod. To me, these are great worm & jig rods, ie bottom contact where feel and driving home a single hook is important. I initially picked up the Heavy Power rod to throw frogs (yes, I am one of those guys who throws frogs on spinning rods) and this rod has all the power, and tip, to drive the hooks home on a top water frog bite and the power of the rod allows you to pull fish out of cover and get them back to the boat quick. I am throwing 30lb braid with no problems at all. These rods are super light, even the heavy power, which makes them easy to throw all day long. Foregrip is awesome for anyone that holds a rod with three + fingers ahead of the reel stem and guide material, SIC, is top notch. Truly, a quality rod for a very budget friendly price. I just picked up a medium to try, and if I like the way that rod fishes, the ML will be next.

Comments: These rods are the truth. I am shocked they don't get more hype. For $50 more, they blow the doors off the Tatula rods. Feather light, great sensitivity, top notch components, unique styling. I have the 7-Medium and it is exactly what I wanted for fishing docks and grass with shaky heads and wacky rigs. Extra-fast tip with plenty of power, yet still the perfect action for casting light baits accurately.

Comments: Really pretty fantastic rod in my opinion, as long as you know what you're getting.  When they say fast action they are not kidding at all.  There's a little tip to it, but it is only in the last 12-18" of the rod, even on my ML. That said, I throw all kinds of baits on it and I love it.
