Comments: Horrible line. Lost a tournament because my line kept breaking on hooksets with a dropshot when running braid to flouro. I was using 10lb test and light hook sets so this shouldn't be an issue.

Comments: I've had nothing but success using this line in 8lbs on Lake Erie drop shotting for smallies. Hold up against the occasional giant drum and constant zebra mussels. It's still the best deal on leader fluro out there in my opinion. I do use it as more of a top shot than a short leader though so that might help. (20 foot vs most people using 8-10 ft)

Comments: Terrible! Got the line and was all ratted up from out of the box snd keeps doing it can't even tie leader without having to despool it and wrap it back up.

Comments: 5-Stars - a fantastic product. My primary fishing is for Northern Pike in upper North Dakota. Most of the pike are under 36". I use this line to make my own leaders and get lots of pike to my kayak before I need to change the leaders because they are too frayed to trust. I've never had one break.

Comments: I bought a new reel and was spooling it up with some braid and then added some 12# Diawa J-Fluoro leader line. After after putting in a knot and setting it, I tested the knot by giving it a good tug. The leader line broke in two. First time that has ever happened. I have used this line while on the water and it seemed to hold up well. I am not sure if the line is too old or if it is just brittle, but I should not have been able to break a 12# test line with a single test pull. After that I removed the line and put on a different brand that I have also had good results with. I also tested that line (12# test) to make sure the knot holds and the leader line did not brake.

Comments: I used Berkley Vanish flouro leader for years. Since they no longer make it, I bought the J-Flouro. It has a much smaller diameter, but I have landed 6 pounders and a over a 100 fish on it. I have yet to break it or have any cuts in the line. The band around the spool works great to have the line handled and not waste line coming off. Update: Unfortunately, I have to amend my prior review. After using it for an extended time, the leader does break either at the hook or in the middle. I never had 20lb leader break at my knot before. It does not hold up to any type of hooksets.

Comments: I'm not exactly sure if it's the line or not but I continue to break off at the hook with my dropshot rig. Using #8 leader #10 PP braid and lost 3 fish at the hook knot. Next fish, line snapped at my FG knot from line to leader. I meticulously tied my palomar knots to ensure no line crossing or friction burn. Maybe i need to upsize to #10-#15 per another reviewers' comment

Comments: I got some at a local retailer and it hasn't failed yet. Got some smallmouth this morning with it.

Comments: line is very thin, id recommend going up in size that will solve the leader breaking issues other people have, i had 30lb break on a small snook first time out and i was upset. My daiwa rep for the shop i work at gave me some 50 to try and it is the same diameter as most 30lb flouros from other brands. I havent had a single break off since the switch and have put it to the test with large saltwater species. Snook up to 39"s and many of them, also caught about a 5ft cuda on the same leader (got lucky and hooked her on the edge of the lip) but i highly reccomend this leader line!

Comments: I pruchased this line to use as a leader on live bait rigs. The first time using it I had it break 5 times on fish. It would usually break at the knot, I tried tying several different knots and wetting down the line with no luck. This is the worst line i have bought yet. For the price I was hoping to get a way better product.

Comments: This line does not have good abrasion resistance. Line broke 5 times in one day.
