Comments: I have the 894 FPR. The rod is amazing! Light, sensitive, and balances well with Shimano's lighter reels (a problem I think other Loomis rods had). The rod has good tip softness for placing baits with plenty of backbone to finish the job. Buy one, and you won't be disappointed! This made me fall in love with G Loomis again!
