Overview
Designed for super lightweight lures and ultra finesse techniques, the Lew’s Custom Lite SS Casting Reel effortlessly casts small lures and gives anglers the power and control of a baitcasting reel. Combining a super shallow 30mm spool with QuietCast adjustable centrifugal braking system, it requires less inertia to spin the spool when casting lightweight lures, helping anglers achieve tremendous casting distance and be able to place finesse baits exactly where you want to in any condition without backlashing. The one-piece proprietary TansoTech frame and C45 carbon side plates significantly reduce weight and maintain rock solid rigidity, while also enhancing vibration transitions from the rod to increase sensitivity.
Delivering unmatched smoothness, the Lew’s Custom Lite SS Casting Reel internally houses hard anodized aluminum Speed Gears and the P2 Super Pinion gear that are supported by an 11-bearing stainless steel double shielded ball bearing system for butter smooth cranking performance. Outfitted by a carbon fiber drag system and a 95mm bowed carbon fiber handle that gives anglers superior cranking leverage, the Lew’s Custom Lite SS Casting Reel is perfect for finesse applications and eliminates the hassles of spinning reels.

This reel is slept onJust as good if not better than my Aldebaran. Knew it was special from the first time I threw a cast. Super smooth, super light, and handles whatever weight bait you put on with ease. If you were thinking about it, stop thinking and just get it.
Great reelI looked at these for a while before I bought one because of the price . I’m glad I worked some OT for the extra money, it’s worth every penny. Very happy with this reel. It is perfect for weightless stick baits and handles jigs up to 1/2oz. If you’re like me and on the fence because of the price, save up a little extra and buy one.

Comments: WOW! I've never bothered leaving a review on a reel, but I feel obligated to for this one. This thing is amazing. Smoothest reel I've ever casted. Can handle as small a bait as you want to throw with ease. If you research BFS reels like I did and see dudes backlashing and acting like it's hard to get used to, either they are diots and/or they weren'tt using this Lews Custom Lite SS. I've had zero issues. This reel screams quality.

Comments: Impressive reel. As advertised you can cast the lightest baits out there. The reel is super light, very smooth. As always with Lew's you get what you pay for. If this reel holds up over the summer I will buying more. I already own several Lew's baitcasters, but this is my favorite so far for the versatility of being able to throw anything from 1/16 to 1/2 ounce.

Comments: I'll always stick with Lew's as long as they continue to make quality products and keep their excellent costume service. This is another great reel by Lew's. I use this reel to throw wacky rigs, soft jerkbaits and small crankbaits without worrying about getting backlashed. Very smooth reel that's easily adjusted and very comfortable and lightweight in the hand. I have this paired with a Lew's custom medium casting rod. This reel is cash.
