Comments: I now have two of these, a 6.8 and 7.5. Could not be more pleased. Initially, I was concerned because there is no internal braking system inside the side plate as so many reels have. I was concerned that on a windy day, this would cause me issues. I have found that all the external controls do a great job of adjusting the reel to any condition. Really like the hook hanger on front of reel as well. As long as they make them, this will be my reel of choice going forward. Very smooth and casts like a dream.

Comments: In my opinion this is the best flipping reel out there it's a Cadillac of reels you can do what ever you want with it smooth operation I've only had 1 backlash and it was totally my fault . It feels so nice in your hand . I'm right handed but I fish with left handed reels I hate casting out and switching hands you can only get this reel in an 8:1 gear ratio I was disappointed in that but now that I have had a few weeks with it I love this gear ratio now it's so easy too keep tension on my line . If your looking for an all around reel this is the one for you , flipping casting what ever and at 200 bucks it's a steal way better than my DC reels in my opinion cost and performance this is my second Super duty I have the older style one in a right handed 7:1 gear ratio and I'm so upset I didn't get it in the 8 :I was scared of speed don't be it's perfect

Comments: Right-handed flippers/punchers... do yourself a favor and get this reel in left hand. Turn the flip switch on and never look back. You'll be faster since you're not switching hands. Your left hand doesn't need the fine motor skills since you are only reeling a few turns.
