Overview
The Livingston Lures FlatSide is an extension of Livingston’s lipless crankbait line-up, now with a wider, bulkier profile to trigger bigger strikes. It’s perfect for fishing all levels of the water column and the larger profile generates a very powerful vibration that active fish can’t resist. It also produces a subtle side-to-side wobble as it descends and will sit perfectly upright when it hits the bottom, making it an easy target. Delivering a wide range of versatility, it is a perfect bait to be yo-yo’d off the bottom or burned and ripped through grass lines.
The FlatSide comes with Livingston’s cutting-edge EBS sound technology that mimics a distressed baitfish and makes it irresistible to gamefish. It also features razor sharp treble hooks, 3D eyes, 3D gill plates, and a textured scale pattern that brings the FlatSide to life. Available in a range of ultra realistic colors, the Livingston Lures FlatSide brings next-level technology to your fishing arsenal.
EBS Technology: Built into Livingston Lures’ original lineup of lures, EBS (Electronic Baitfish Sound) technology is an advanced internal acoustic system that emulates the natural sound of a panicked baitfish. Activated once the bait hits the water, EBS technology consists of a sounder, smart chip, and advanced rattles that work in unison to create a unique tonal agitation. Effective in all fishing conditions, the EBS technology really begins to shine in dirty or dark waters where predators rely on sound before sight to feed. Once it is out of the water and dry, the EBS technology automatically powers down to preserve battery life.
Tones:
EBS Original - The tone that started it all, EBS original is the one used by Randy Howell to win the 2014 Bassmasters Classic on Lake Guntersville. Designed to imitate the sounds of a distressed baitfish, EBS original appeals to all species of fish and is capable of getting the job done in a wide-range of conditions.

Comments: I have had my flat side almost 3 years now and it is still running strong along with all the other baits I have by Livingston. The battery is still running strong, body/paint is in good shape, and most importantly, still catches fish on the good and not so good days. Sometimes if you listen hard enough, you can hear it say "put me in coach"! I like there products but you dont, that's okay! More for us!

Comments: You might as well just buy the real one (Rapala) not a copy-cat from livingston lures. All livingston lures are mere replicas of other bait companies and dont perform at all.

Comments: Decent lure but maybe my first and only livingston lure i'll buy. Requires you to reel fast to get the bait to move properly. Was never able to get the sound to shut off after my first use on the river so the battery went out.
