Bursting to life with dynamic jerking and darting action that sets it apart from the school, the Megabass X-Nanahan+1 Jerkbait features an extended diving bill that guides it to depths up to 7ft while pursuing the ‘ultimate’ in responsiveness. Delivering exceptional life-like appeal that triggers aggressive chase bites, the X-Nanahan+1 produces high-pitched rolling action on a straight retrieve and sharp dynamic darting action when twitching.
The X-Nanahan concept fuses the ideals of Shinjin Sato, one of Japan’s foremost jerkbait anglers, and the engineering of Yuki Ito, creator and lure designer of dominant jerkbaits like the Vision 110. Harnessing superior castability in a small jerkbait minnow profile, the X-Nanahan’s body is carved from a high-volume block to create a visually tight silhouette with higher precision, which greatly reduces air resistance.
Acting as a feeding trap that switches on the predatory instincts of your target species, the X-NANAHAN+1’s subtle action and flash reproduce the minute waves and flickering appeal of baitfish in an extremely realistic manner. A next-generation finesse minnow, the Megabass X-Nanahan+1 Jerkbait features a unique shape that’s guided by the latest in hydrodynamics and provides excellent swimming response with intuitive handling.

Comments: I use the Megabass X-Nanahan + 1 after I have found and caught largemouth bass in an area with the Megabass Ito Vision 110 + 1. The Ito Vision 110 + 1 covers water fast and finds the "sweet spots". If the bite is hot, I will stick with the 110 + 1, but if the bite is slack I will come back later and just fish these places with the X-Nanahan + 1. This bait really shines when you need to slow down and keep the lure in the strike zone longer. It also works great when fishing behind other anglers and pressured waters. A medium light rod is a necessity to cast and work the jerkbait correctly. Fluorocarbon line on the reel is a must to keep the lure suspended. The Megabass X-Nanahan will definitely help fill the livewell when nothing else will. Tight Lines!

Comments: The three X-Nanahan jerkbaits have been available internationally for at least a year. I've used all three and like the +1 the best. It works pretty well during slow times like post spawn or hot summer, calm days. The paint quality is super good. The hooks are fine, but could have bigger gaps. Like other small jerkbaits the decent catch rate during the slow times comes at the cost of catching panfish species and small bass. They cast okay for their weight and do pause with authority. Shorter jerks seem better than what works for shallower and larger 110s.
