Overview
Generating unquestionable results from the waters throughout Japan, the Megabass X-Nanahan+2 Jerkbait easily reaches depths of up to 10ft to bring its irresistible appeal right under the noses of big bass tucked away in the depths. Providing a rare combination of high-pitched rolling action on a straight retrieve and sharp trick darting action when twitching, the NANAHAN+2 induces difficult bites with a unique aero-bill design that enables rocket-like casts and maximizes diving depth.
The X-Nanahan concept fuses the ideals of Shinjin Sato, one of Japan’s foremost jerkbait anglers, and the engineering of Yuki Ito, creator and lure designer of dominant jerkbaits like the Vision 110. Harnessing superior castability in a small jerkbait minnow profile, the X-Nanahan’s body is carved from a high-volume block to create a visually tight silhouette with higher precision, which greatly reduces air resistance.
Acting as a feeding trap that switches on the predatory instincts of your target species, the X-NANAHAN+2’s subtle action and flash reproduce the minute waves and flickering appeal of baitfish in an extremely realistic manner. Now available in a deeper diving size to cover all of the key depth ranges, the Megabass X-Nanahan+2 Jerkbait completes an invaluable set of tools for the demanding angler.

Comments: When getting down is the key, this jerkbait flips the bill. Deepest in its class and suspends perfectly to catch fish that have not seen such a small presentation before. Use a lighter rod & reel setup to work this bait correctly. Braid with a fluorocarbon leader, (Not fluorocarbon line!), spliced in works great! Stay safe on the water. Good Fishing!

Comments: I bought a couple of these last season in "Wagin Ito Ayu" as they were available internationally. On ten pound Tatsu I could get them down about eight feet. Short sweeps worked better than jerks. I had some good smallmouth catches. I can only fish finesse plastics for so long during a hot, slow day. These are a good way to catch some decent fish while doing something different.
