Comments: I've been using this rod for the past few years, and I have learned a lot about it. (7'3" MH). to start, it is a very nice rod for the price. it's extremely light, has decent sensitivity and a great backbone. that said there are some cons. I've been through 3 so far and from what I can tell the tip can be very delicate if bent in just the wrong way like setting the hook bad or a weird cast, which is how I've broken them. all in all, it's a good rod but I'd rather invest a bit more for something that will last longer.

Comments: Very smooth reel, I am pretty impressed for a reel this nice for the price.

Comments: Fantastic rod with get build quality. The tip is very soft with about 15% being really soft an sensitive with the other 85% being straight back bone. Really great rod from okuma and is feature rich for a good price.

Comments: Bought 7'6 XH and paired it up with slx DC and it's a heck of a combo. Rod is very lightweight/ balanced. Tip action is on the money for being extra fast. Winn grips are very sticky which a is great addition. Rod loads well and can pin the fish without unloading the rod when cranking them in. I got this rod primarily for flipping but it's great for frogging too!! Overall very pleased With this product!

Comments: 7'3"m xf. Blanks are spot on to the power ratings and a true extra fast. Beautiful rod. Worth every penny :) you will want them all...

From: Michael: Ormond Beach

Comments: Well balanced, light and top quality! The Winn grips an color are an added bonus. Reviewing for the 7'3" heavy. Works great for my monster worm setup!

From: Matt W: San Diego, Ca 11/21/19

Comments: I purchased the 7'3"H to primarily throw paddle tails on an underspin, and it works great. Loving the winn grip, the rod feels well balanced with plenty of backbone. Highly recommended for the price. I keep going back to Okuma rods as I find them reasonably priced plus very durable.

From: Tom: Standish, Maine 10/21/19

Comments: I've been using the Serrano rod for about two months now, at first I wasn't sure about the blue color but now I want an entire set. The rod has Winn grips like a golf club which are super comfortable and grip good when wet. The reel seat has angles that might look a little weird at first but they fit my hand well and feels good holding the rod, the reels seat holds the reel firmly with no side to side movement. The guide are angled forward giving it a cool look and keeping the line from getting tangled on the guides. I have the 7.3 H and the 7.0 MH - the 7.3 feels great tossing a football jig, chattertbait, buzzbait also spooning - the 7.0 works good for cranking, ripping and also 1/4 shakey heads. I've already caught a ton of fish on them and have had no issues. I'll be working on getting an entire set soon.
