Comments: This reel was actually better than I expected. I had to buy a Muskie reel for another rod and planned on buying another tranx. Well I couldn' find one in stock anywhere so I figured I would try out penn and I'm pretty happy I did. It's smooth, solid, and a bit heavier than the tranx but all in all a good price for what you get no doubt. I love the handle and it has a pile of drag pressure. It casts large Muskie baits with ease and I plan on buying another for a new deep cranking rod for largemouth. 10xds are serious but hardly noticeable with the fathom 400. I got 130 yds of 80lb power pro on it for reference of spool size.
