Comments: I ordered 3 St. Croix rods at the same time, 2 Triumphs and a Mojo Bass. I'll start by saying I love the Mojo Bass, it's light and well balanced. The Triumph rods are quite heavy and the balance is off. It's very tip heavy even with a above average weight baitcaster (Shimano DC). I got the 7ft M/H Fast, they don't really feel like fast actions. I've heard St. Croix rods were a little on the lighter side of their rating. They feel more like a moderate fast to me.. So, I've sold one and I still have the other. I just can't warm up to that rod for any technique after using lighter more balanced rods. I really wish I had picked one up in a store somewhere first, but not many places carry St. Croix near me.. All in all, I can tell it's a quality rod, but the balance is a deal breaker for me.

Comments: Bought 3 Triumphs to try out instead of the Bass X (4) or the MOJO (5) that I currently have. I like a full cork handle for easier casting and handling. One rod after the third fish broke the rod 12" from the tip when slinging a 3.5 lbs bass in the boat. Switched to the other and haven't had any issues. Reeled in over 50 bass with the largest being 5.8 lbs with no problems. Didn't have time to register it but St Croix ask me to mail in the 6" piece with the part number and serial number on it. They had me a replacement rod in less than a week at no cost to me. Tackle warehouse asked me to return it with the free shipping and they would replace it. Went with the St Croix option due to it being a rod issue. Tackle Warehouse and St Croix both had immediate solutions. I am a fan for life with both companies.

Comments: I purchased the 7' Medium rod. Great rod loads really well when casting baits and has more back bone than the average Medium power rod. Great rod from St Croix I love the full cork handle also. Very good sensitivity for $100 you can't lose here!!

Comments: I started with these rods about 8 years ago. There are lighter rods on the market, but these are solid, and I still have every single one of them, and use them all of the time. I have even got Angler of the Year in my club and won quite a few tournaments. These rods are stiff, and great for starting out. I am slowly upgrading to Avids and Legend Elites. I have about 8-9 in casting and spinning and I still use them all the time.

Comments: I didn't get this rod from tackle warehouse but I've had this rod for about two years and caught my pb on it but I've noticed that it is a bit tip heavy and not very sensitive but other than that it is a good rod. Its built very sturdy and feels solid but for the same price I would get the bass x rod.
