Awsome lineI've skipped alot of docks and had alot of fish wrap me up with 12lb and have never had any issues. Maybe after a day of fishing cut a couple feet off and start again
Not for meThis line has it's pros and cons as with any line. For me the cons outweigh the pros. First off I will say it's very very thin and I like the metered look. Those qualities definitely make it a finesse braid. The big issue I had was when running a leader. I tie an FG knot to 6lb Tatsu and had major issues with the leader line coming off in my cast. My knot wasn't slipping... but the braid is so thin and slick it was literally slicing the flouro like butter anytime I had more than slight pressure on the knot. IE: setting the hook or ever so slightly tugging on a snagged dropshot. I was using the 10 pound test so that could be my issue but I have NEVER experienced this with any other "high-end" braids. IMO it's not worth the price tag
Good BraidI've been using this braid for about 2 months now and have to say I'm pretty impressed with it. Its been very smooth and no wind knots so far. Also I like the metered look of it as it does help some with bite detection and maybe some with stealth but I tie on FC leaders every time so I don't really worry about fish being line shy. I have already bought another couple spools to put on my other spinning outfits. Nice braid in my book.
Good lineI was worried when they discontinued the D braid but I purchased this and love it. Wind knots are almost non existent it is soft and casts very well. I also like the sections on neon in it I feel it's slightly stealthier than straight neon yellow. Overall highly recommend.
