Use At Your Own RiskI was given a spool of this in the 16# test, and first impression was that it was super thin for its poundage. After spooling it up and using it a few times, I was really beginning to like it. It was very manageable, cast like a dream, and I thought I had found my new favorite braid. Then, out of no where, I was using it for same application and with the same set up, and it started continuously breaking at the knot to my leader. So I stripped off about 20 yrds. and retied, and that seemed to help for the next several trips.......and it started doing it again. I just don't think it lasts, for whatever reason. I can't bring myself to trust it, so I'm back to using my old stand by. I cannot recommend this line.

Siglon 10lbHad been using this line, 10lb, on spinning gear. At first I loved it, the casting was phenomenal - in part due to the tiny diameter I guess. Then on one single trip last season I had two breakoffs, then another on a different trip. One broke at the leader connection, and one sort of due to line fraying - I understand why that happened now reading that the strands aren't bonded. Not 100% against the line, but would upsize the lb test if I was to buy again.

Comments: Like Tom said below, this line is very thin for a given weight, the 10 pound line feels more like 4 pound test. This has its pros and cons. It's very good for BFS or light spinning setups because you can still cast very light lures a reasonable distance and fit more line on a low capacity reel, but it's much more prone to backlash and get wind knots that are impossible to untangle. Also, the 8 strands aren't bonded together in any way, so they're more likely to fray or separate from each other. Would I recommend this line? Only for very specific techniques, mainly casting sub 1/16th oz. lures or maybe when you're dropping straight down under the boat (damiki rig or the like). Otherwise, it's more trouble than it's worth for general use.

Comments: Bought this line as my favorite braid is out of stock. The first trip out it performed well. The second trip not so well. Line snapped twice. Multiple wind knots and re-ties. Very unhappy. With my other braid I could literally go months without re tying. I ordered 10lb. It is very thin. Very hard to handle and tie. It's like fishing with hair or corn silk. I don't normally right bad reviews but this line frustrates me to no end.
