Comments: Too brittle in 16lb for throwing senkos, 10 worked on dropshoting. Knot strength is iffy, line breaks when tying on flouro leaders.

Comments: I found this braid when looking for an alternative to VARIVAS Super Trout Advance Bait Finesse PE. It's a braid that is specifically designed to be used for BFS fishing. I found it odd that every specification about the Sunline was exactly the same as the much more expensive Varivas option. I pulled the trigger, and I'm so glad I did! I purchased the 10lb. to spool onto a KastKing Zephyr bait caster. The line worked out perfectly..it's slick, but not smooth. It casts a mile, and when you do backlash, it's not too hard to get out. I highly recommend this line if you like BFS fishing with braid.

Comments: It does stay very orange, doesn't frey as as much as similar braids. SUPER thin compared to others at same strength ratings, so consider going up a few lbs. It's very slippery, so more wraps are needed with leader knots, which is not really a problem. I use 11-12 wraps over flouro leader on my finesse rod. The slippery-ness does allow for further casts. Perfect for deeper dropshotting, as the thin profile cuts through the water and increases sensitivity and bait action because it holds more tension. Only thing to be aware of is that since it is a four-strand braid (standard braids are 8 strand), it is a bit harder to manage than other braids. If you have used braid before, you're fine, but beginners may want to consider a cheaper 8-strand braid.
