Inside the VRII, robust spiral-beveled stainless gears provide unrelenting winching power for efficiently cranking on the hardest-fighting species, while a sealed double-bearing stainless roller assembly ensures smooth line flow.

The VRII comes equipped with a strong one-piece bail wire fitted with a double bail spring to maintain long-term service on every cast and retrieve. Additionally, the reel is also armed with an upgraded Power Grip handle knob and a muscular carbon-fiber drag adjusted through a refreshed Power Grip drag knob.
