Machined from rigid 6061-T6 aluminum with generous porting throughout, each VSX2 Spinning Reel is built with a new one-piece body and stem that's fully sealed to protect the internals from water and contaminants. Inside, the VXS2 Spinning Reel sports a robust titanium shaft, spiral-bevel stainless gearing, and oversized clutch on the pinion side for powerfully instant hooksets.
Giving anglers ample functionality, the VSX2 Spinning Reel is equipped with an easy-to-grab drag knob for quick adjustments on the fly and a longer Powergrip handle for superior cranking torque. Ready to take on anything from dime-bright steelhead to Florida snook, the VXS2 comes fitted with a smooth sealed drag that produces a whopping 25-pounds of stopping force to put the brakes on the hottest fish.
