Balanced and powerful, the ParaMag RX braking system applies even force across the brake surface to create a perfect spool balance for silent and friction-free performance to prevent backlashes.

Equipped with a 32-millimeter ported aluminum spool with integrated Knot Slot feature for seamless line attachment, the Accel RX Casting Reels boast a 4+1 double-shielded stainless bearing system and precision-cut, high-strength, solid-brass gears for a buttery-smooth feel. Safely protecting internal components with a durable graphite frame and side plates, the Lew's Accel RX Casting Reels boast sleek anodized black and gold accents to look great and perform at the highest level.

No tension.I was excited to try this reel since it had good reviews and it’s basically a contender against the SLX around the same price point. I would say this one is a lot lighter. It still feels janky like the slx. The materials does feel a bit cheap especially the drag (no clicks and there’s not much room to give). However, I do like that it wasn’t as heavy as the slx. However, my biggest issue was the drag/tension. I spooled 50lb power pro braid on it. I tightened the drag all the way (didn’t open the spool release button) , tightened the spool tensioner as well but there was barely any tension. I pulled line out and there was barely any tension. Not good. Can’t hook-set anything. I don’t know if I got a dud or not but I put the reel back in the box and will be returning.

ReelI have 2 of these reels. I fish tournaments locally 2xs a week and fish others when I can.. I have no problem.

Lews Accel RXGreat reel for the budget out of box is a little less smooth than anticipated but after all it has five bearings. After unboxing the reel and noticing the slight unsmoothness I greased and oiled it and it has had zero problems. Casts well and is amazing for the price point. Cannot comment on drag feel yet as I only catch dinks. Overall great reel for the price and would definitely recommend.

Ho-Hum another fantastic reel from Lew'sI was a little hesitant about this reel because of the fewer ball bearings. It's makes no difference whatsoever, cast like a dream, retrieve smooth as silk, and the drag handled a 9-4 bass here at Falcon last week with ease. A quality reel as I expected from Lew's at an affordable price, and in my book that's a win-win!

New Lew’s reelHad two rods open and got two of these for throwing spinner baits and chatter baits. Used them a handful of times and look to be a good reel and cast good.
