Delivering performance upgrades over the original KVD rod series, the Lew's KVD Elite Casting Rods are designed with input from the legendary Kevin VanDam for even greater durability and feel. Assembled on light, crisp multi-directional IM8 blanks, every KVD Elite Casting Rod is built using proprietary FOCAS technology, a multi-layered process that creates 75% greater tip strength along with more overall durability and sensitivity. To further reduce weight while ensuring excellent balance, the guide train features zirconium inserts to help you pitch and cast with total smoothness.
Updated with longer handle lengths, each KVD Elite Casting Rod incorporates a comfortable EVA split grip and Lew's Full Contact reel seat equipped with a massive integrated cutout for abundant finger-to-blank contact. Finished with a handy hook keeper and a classy red and black color scheme, Lew's KVD Elite Casting Rods provide tournament-level fishability at an accessible price.
