Comments: Bought a 6'6" MH last November while restocking my gear. Second time out this year noticed the cork wrap on the handle was coming unglued. When I first unpacked it, I thought it was solid cork. There is a lesser quality cork under a better quality cork wrap. Just know this isn't a good quality solid cork handle. Called TW and they are taking the rod back no questions asked. Going to try a Lew's TP-1 and pay the difference.

Comments: I really like the feel of these rods and I like the options available, however I really wish Lews would make this with a basic reel lock. The cork material on the lock nut isn't durable at all.

Comments: A pretty good rod. Pretty sensitive feels pretty good, is pretty light. The only issue is that I have not have one last over 4 months of fishing. First one I got within a week had a broken reel seat and wasn't even fully tightened. Glued it back on and a week later the guide on the top broke off while fishing it. Got another one to replace it. Same thing happened with the reel seat after barely using it. Very disappointed in this rod but am not surprised because I have always had durability issues with everything lews.

Comments: Good rod if you're lucky to get one where the glue on the reel seat lock doesn't fail immediately. First one I had for about 4 months until I snapped it accidentally on my kayak. Purchased a new one and the reel seat lock wouldn't fully tighten while putting the reel on, hooked into a fish the next day and noticed the reel was super loose, went to tighten the lock and the cork split and wouldn't lock at all this time. Ordered another one while I set up a return for the second one. Got the rod a couple days later and tested it before even putting a reel on it, and the glue failed immediately. For kicks I went to my first one, or what was left of it, and put pressure on the lock and the glue also failed, albeit with a little more force than the other two. For an $80 or so rod I would expect a little better QC on the rods leaving the factory. Would give it a 7/10 based on the first one's performance, but it drops to a 3/10 when taking the other two into consideration.

Comments: I bought the 7' m mod for throwing a rogue based on the 1/8 rating. A rogue won't load this rod, so I'll keep looking. In fact, this rod doesn't load (with a rogue or a squarebill) as well as my Dobyns 705 cb. Not a bad rod, just ho hum.

Comments: Excellent all around rod, caught pike and bass on it and it has performed very well. The guides are large enough for leader knots to pass through as well, works amazing for chatterbaits and crankbaits but has enough backbone for jigs. Cant beat it for the money!

Comments: Purchased the 7' med for unweighted flukes and senko's. Met every expectation, super light with enough backbone for a 3/0 hook and light tip to throw the bait. At $80 its tough to beat.

Comments: For the money this rod is hard to beat. I have more expensive rods than this one but it hangs right in there with them. If you need a do it all rod this is the one to go with.
