This is awesome! This rod is incredible! I bought this to pair with my Daiwa Tatula 100 and it is awesome! I got the 7 ft medium heavy/ fast and it is perfect for everything! At first when you are feeling to rod it feels very stiff and like it will not be sensitive but it is deceiving. My first time out with it I caught two one pound sandbass and it handled them like nothing! You can put crankbaits chatterbaits jigs worms. You can just about put anything on the 7ft. I am a 13 year old and this was my second casting combo and dads if you are looking for a sensitive and durable rod that does everything to get for your son, this is a very good option for the price!

Multiple rodsSo far I have a 7’3”medium heavy swim bait and a 7’10” moderate/heavy. Both are awesome rods even though I really wanted the 7’8” swim bait rod. The 7’3” throws a Gantrel with ease and feels great. The 7’10” is my new magnum crank and top water rod. It is perfect for my style of fishing. Both are extremely light for their purpose and feel great in the hand.

7'10" HeavyThe 7'10' heavy rod has he backbone to fight big fish. I use it to throw big swim baits! Paired with the Curado reel, 50lb braid/floro leader, and a Chad shad swimbait I was able to hook up and land a 6.8lb bass! Having the right tackle makes for epic days!

DisappointedI purchased this with excitement to pair with my SLX 71G . The sensitivity is next to nothing it was “extra fast “ and the fish had to inhale the lure before I felt a bite. Purchased the Lews mach 2 and so much happier. Sensitive and the vibration ring system is great. Will be selling this guy on offerup.

7' 2" MediumI ended up purchasing the 7 2 MH initially but realized very quickly it is closer to a H than anything; honestly would probably be a decent open water frog rod with sparse cover. I went back to retailer and exchanged for a 7 2 M and would say this rod is worth every penny. Don't let the price tag fool you; this is a great rod. However, with this particular rod, step down on stiffness and you'll be very happy. In my honest opinion, the 7 2 M fishes more like a true medium heavy; exceptional rod for the price

Can’t beat for $100Top notch rod for $100. I use it as a frogging rod for snakeheads in Maryland and I have zero issues with ripping them out of thick grass.

Comments: I use the 7'2 MHXF for texas rigs/jigs and it's a great rod for the price, it's sensitive, and extremely responsive. I give it a 9/10
