Comments: In-case you were questioning. these are the same exact rods as a legend elite just with a split grip and different color rod. I have 3 rods in the series, 6'10 MXF, 7'0 MHF and a 7'6 MF spinning in the elite these rods are WORK HORSES. St Croix's actions are so perfectly tuned that you can almost throw anything on their "fast" action. they have quick tips for feeling baits and bottom but deeper bends that let you fight fish better than most other rods. If i can only bring a few rods on a buddies boat or on a trip you know i'm reaching for my Croix'.

Comments: I've been using the 6'8 med-extra fast for a jerkbait rod. I can work the bait really well with the shorter length and the sensitivity is one of the best I've ever felt. I've been fortunate enough to own several "high-end" rods and that's what I'm comparing to. I use either the g-finesse hooks or the stock Vision 110 hooks and let the fish hook themselves and bring them in slowly, allowing the fish to exhaust itself, and very rarely lose any.

Comments: Not gonna lie I'm not a fan the first guide popped off after 2 weeks of use and the line always gets caught around the tip of the rod because the guides are so close together. great my first st croix rods is not a good experience

Comments: I have the 7'6" Legend X MH. This is my third St. Croix, as I have two 7'6" MH Legend Extremes. These are great rods. I got the Legend X because I thought the handle on the Extremes to be a little too thick. The Legend X does not have this problem, but it has an unusually small or short trigger on the handle. Just doesn't feel right.

Comments: I have several of these rod now and I love all of them. They are light weight in your hand and very sensitive. You can feel the lightest of bites and every rock on the bottom. The quality is very high and the all seem to be well balanced.  The finish on the rod is as good or better then anything on the market. I also love the hook keeper and how your line never gets hung on it.  it is very frustrating when you buy a high end JDM rod and there is no hook keeper. I highly recommend these rods. I wish they had even more sizes and models to choose from.

Comments: These rods have amazing sensitivity and are the top of the line from St. Croix plant.  I have a couple of the 7'0" MH Fast casting rods and two of the 7'6" MH Moderate Fast casting rods.  They feel like the Extreme rod in sensitivity but with a different handle and paint scheme.  They are pricey but if you are looking for a quality rod that will last for years this fits that description.  All top tier components, great color scheme and quality craftsmanship build in Wisconsin.

Comments: I've been using the Legend X 7'1 MH this year and this rod is incredible! The tip is very soft for a MH which makes driving hooksets home very enjoyable. This rod can do many things but it excels at bottom contact baits (3/8th and under is the sweet spot). It's ridiculously light and very well balanced for a St. Croix. I've owned many rods in the Legend Tournament Bass line and those rods are horribly unbalanced. The Legend X line has torzite inserts and lighter guides, and the lightest blank Croix makes. What's even more impressive, besides the weight and balance, is the sensitivity. This rod is like having underwater sonar. When dragging a 3/8th oz jig I can feel every little thing that my bait encounters. This rod is a total home run for St. Croix. The only downside is, for a $400 rod, the fit & finish is really unremarkable. It's not as bad as NRX's, but it's really just bland and boring when compared to Japanese rods in this price point. Cosmetics aside, this rod performs to the price tag. The Legend X is really the top of the mountain in St Croix's line for bass rods.

Comments: Somehow my friend was able to get his hands on some of these rods today at a little shop. I literally just got home and picked up the one he got me and I can say that it feels amazing. It feels and looks like a piece of art. The cork is super soft, the guides are lined straight  the reel seat function smooth and it's lightweight. I don't know how this shop got them before release but as soon as I get a new reel on it I will post another review.  I'm a Fenwick EliteTech guy but this rod right up there, if not above those rods.  I'll let you know.....
