Comments: I am going to preface this by saying I exclusively use Lews Baitcasters. Pro-Ti's('21 design), multiple Tournament Mps, Machs, ect. I was going to purchase another Pro-Ti until I saw they redesigned it and also came out with the Elite-Ti, so I bought the Elite. Here's my take on it: I was able to take it out yesterday and get some fishing in. It casts great, the bearings are smooth as glass, and the new knobs are really nice and grippy even with greasy or wet fingers. I love the finish on the Ti line of reels, and this finish is no different. As for the hand feel, I am not really a fan as of yet. It does not seem as ergonomic as other designs and I couldn't palm the reel like I normally do with other models I own. Felt like my thumb was constantly drifting to find a comfortable position. grip and comfortability in the hand are crucial for me. Going to stick it on some other rods as well to see if I can find that comfortable grip. All in all still a great reel, but the new styling is going to take me some getting used to.
