Comments: This reel is fine out of the box for the most part. It lacks longevity due to cheap materials and design flaws. I bought 3 when garcias in c3 or C4 were impossible to get. Typical Chinese pot metal screws that come apart after a dozen or so disassembly and reassembly for servicing. Tolerances are God awful.... At least use shims... Soo much slop in multiple areas. The clickers were junk and not really audible. I used these for a year.

Comments: I bought this reel for my ocean fishing trip, the last week of December 2020, catching rock fish including lingcod. The reel is great, easy and smooth! I have no problem reeling in my 15 lingcod from 85 feet deep.

Comments: I would purchase this reel again. It has good torque and pull power, and has plenty of line space. I'm using it to throw swimbaits and have 20lb Pline CXX spooled up on it (190yds). It handles the swimbaits well and at no point have I felt the reel was underperforming. It is however a bit noisy. Note: The reel does not have a thumb-bar release for line, it is a push button located on the reel cage. I overlooked this before I purchased it but after a few casts I wasn't bothered by it.

Comments: I got this reel for Christmas this year and I've been using it for a few days and I like to throw my 8 inch hud and 12 inch savage gear line through swim bait it casts amazingly paired with A 13 fishing one 3 defy black swim bait rod it cast big heavy baits perfect great reel for the price would definitely recommend

Comments: Great reel for the price. Works really well for swim baits. I throw a 8 inch Huddleston on it. This reel goes nice with the Diawa swim bait rod. The reel put up a good fight against a 7 pounder and won. If you want to get into swim bait fishing, this is the reel to get.
