Nice ReelMatt and Tim were right on with this choice! This is a good reel for the money. My 1st fish was a 1.5lb lmb on a Ned rig and the drag worked great! The reel is smooth and overall very quiet. My only criticism is minor, but the drive train near the handle is loose enough to make a slight clicking sound if you constantly twitch your bait as you retrieve. Very quiet on straight retrieves.

Comments: When paired up with the correct line and rod, the 2000 is a jerkbait combination. The 2500 has enough spool space for long cast for shallow or deep crankbaits. These reels are the only ones I use for my Spinning Rods

From: Bill cook: Chicago 10/18/22

Comments: Good bang for the buck! I would recommend an aftermarket replacement handle to take out some of the slack from the driveline.

From: Eric: Alpharetta, GA 9/15/21

Comments: As a shore angler, and pond hopper, the 2000, 2500, and 4000 reels have all worked perfectly and durability is 2nd to none. Doesn't matter that these reels aren't 2-300 dollars, they cast forever and hook up the bass and Pike all the way to shore.

From: Bill: Chicago, IL 8/24/21

Comments: This is a great reel for the money! They are smooth cranking, with a nice fine drag adjustment. Cheap enough you can hand them to the kids and not worry. I purchased my first one about a year ago, and now own 4!

Comments: I purchased the 2000 series and paired it with the Diawa Aird X med light.the balance with these 2 is amazing. And both are gold and black so it looks like a combo unit.  On first inspection of this reel I noticed that it doesn't hold a lot of line. I put Berkley trilene 6lb test on it .  It spins nicely gears mesh well no crazy noises. I caught several 1-3 lb large mouth bass on it. And many bream fish.  It has handled everything well . the drag system is smooth and they send you extra replacement pieces. The 200 series would be great on any rod that is used for med light down to ultra light.  I will buy another before summer is over .  that way I have a permanent bream setup.

Comments: Great reel for the price. I would recommend the Daiwa Regal as a better value. $10 more but better, smoother, worth it. However depending on how much you fish these are a good value. Great for panfish, trout, walleye or light duty bass applications

From: Kurt: Iowa 7/8/21

Comments: Sometimes you don't need a 250 dollar spinning reel. This Daiwa Revros LT. Either 2000 or 2500 combined with 10 pound Power Pro braid cast forever. This reel had no issues bringing in a 40" Northern the other morning.  So light and properly maintained, you just keep reeling them in all day!

From: Bill: Chicago 6/28/21

Comments: This is a great reel! Nice light weight, solid feel, smooth operation. I now own 2 of them.

From: Jared: York, PA 3/30/21

Comments: Super smooth machine w braid, great bass reel for finesse baits and a deal at this price.

From: Unknown: Madison, MS 3/16/21

Comments: Another great budget Daiwa reel! Grabbed one for a super budget ned setup paired with a ML Dobyns Colt. Smooth drag especially for the price... Handle down to 4# line no trubs!

From: Unknown 3/1/21

Comments: I own several Daiwa reels, this being the most budget friendly and this performs like a much higher priced reel. Daiwa does it again

From: Unknown: 2/3/21

Comments: Great real for the price I liked it so much I ordered another one.

From: Tom: Newman, California 1/27/21

Comments: Awesome reel I use it for drop shots, neds, small finesse baits works good.

From: Unknown 1/20/21

Comments:This daiwa reel along with the 2000 is my go to for any jerkbait or finesse worm fishing. This past summer I had the pleasure of landing a 8 plus largemouth through the weeds and this reel took ever run from the bass and thick vegetation and never flinched. Love these reels.

From: Bill: 1/18/21

Comments:Awesome reel and the best in this price range. I don't pick up finesse rods often so when I do I need them to work right. This thing is awesome. Only issue I have run into is that the leader knot sometimes gets stuck on the roller. Make sure you use an FG knot or a very long crazy Alberto knot to mitigate this issue. Tight lines.

From: Josh: Angles Camp, CA 12/13/20

Comments:I own a few of these reels in 2000 and 2500 sizes. I believe they are as good a reel as you can find for the price.

From: Unknown - 10/23/20

Comments:Pretty sweet reel for the price, bought it for $50 at our local tackleshop. I ended up getting two of them, the 2000 and the 2500, both have worked well for me for over a year. My only complaint is that the reel can start to get a little gritty over time, I opened it up to clean it and a metal piece fell out. After that the drag no longer made any sound, however it still worked fine.

From: Michael - Chesterfield, VA 10/19/20

Comments:First day using it was real smooth sounded fantastic. Put it to work 5 fish later I heard a rattling sound. Popped the drag off and a piece fell out. Reel still works but it doesn't sound as smooth when fish peel the drag. Thinking of returning it honestly

From: Javier: Merced, CA 10/2/20

Comments:I purchased the 4000 and put it on a Lews speed MH 7' rod spooled up with 20lb P-line braid so I can drag m over limbs and fallen trees if need be, it's a really nice workhorse, I mainly use this for texas rig worms or beaver baits and I catch really heavy bass with ease in a private lake i fish but anyway I am very impressed with this reel the drag is great, it's really smooth, quality feel quality reel at a really good price, if you use spinning equipment i highly recommend this, i think the 3000 will handle whatever you throw at it no problem, I wanted the 3000 but they were not in stock at the but I have a powerhouse in the 4000 for sure, I give it a strong 10

From: Christopher: Elizabethtown 9/4/20

Comments:I actually think this Reel is better than the Fuego LT. No flex at all.

From: Unknown: 7/1/20

Comments: I have been using this reel for about 3 months now in lots of different species and techniques and it is an amazing reel for $50. I liked it so much that I bought a second. The drag system on it is top notch. I mostly use it for finesse fishing with a 15lb braid and 10lb fluorocarbon leader. I have reels that cost over $150 and don't perform half as well. Only time will tell in terms of durability, but the first few months of heavy use and no issues.

From: Arch S: Denver, CO 6/4/20

Comments:Got this reel because the reviews said it was good and I have had good luck with Daiwa in the past. However this reel, not so much. Based on the reviews it's possible I got a lemon but i'm not convinced. I spooled it up and the first few cast the line was ending up around the bottom of the spool instead of where it should be. It's almost like the line was going on loose when you reeled. If there was tension on the line it was perfectly fine. The other issue I was having was sometimes when you would cast, you would have line coming off from 3 different places. Sometimes you could unknot it, other times you would lose half your spool. Thought maybe it was because I over filled the spool or the line was too light, but the second time I spooled it I used 12lb line and only filled the spool roughly half full and I was still having the same issues. The reels are very smooth for the price but unfortunately mine isn't very reliable. (Luckily I didn't lose any fish because of it, brought 6 decent largemouth in the 2 days I tested the reel). For $50, i'd try your luck, I probably got a lemon.

From:Jordan: NY 6/15/19

Comments:10/10 would recommend! Good reel and you can't beat the price. Extremely smooth and the drag is great. Daiwa's spinning reels put fish in the boat so do yourself a favor and pick one up.

From: Maine4/21/19

Comments:Great reel, i fish only spinning gear and ive found the new revros pairs nicely with the aird-x rods. Makes for a $100 set up that fishes more like a $200 set up.

From:Daniel: Austin 4/7/19

Comments:I ordered the Daiwa Revros Lt 4000 and I got the 4000 only it was not the one I wantedthe one listed here don`t have a line capacity of 360 yards of 10 lb monoit has a 210 yard of monoand 32.5 return rate of handle turn. Not 47.4 like I wantedthere are two versions of this reelC and D the C is what I gotand thought I was getting the D version of this .The one they have here is the Daiwa Revros LT 4000-C and not the Diawa Revros LT 4000-D . The C just don`t have the capacity I want . I`d keep it if it was something I wantedbut it is not . It states here on the web site of 14/250 or something like that.
