Overview
Built with Daiwa’s latest ground-breaking technologies, the Daiwa Steez AGS Casting Rods are unparalleled by any other rod series on the market and raise the bar in terms of performance and functionality. Featuring an advanced lightweight design that is 10% lighter than previous Steez AGS models, the Daiwa Steez AGS Casting Rods are constructed using Daiwa’s SVF(Super Volume Fiber) Nanoplus graphite, which packs unidirectional graphite fiber into a denser form with exact resin control, yielding blanks with greater strength, lighter weight and incredible sensitivity. X45 blank technology also reinforces the blanks and helps resist twisting for less stress, better durability, and increased hook-setting power.
The all-new AGS(Air Guide System) that is equipped on the Daiwa Steez AGS Casting Rods are built with carbon fiber frames and are even lighter than previous AGS guides to decrease weight even further, improve balance, and provide unmatched sensitivity. They are also fitted with custom Daiwa ultra-lightweight reel seats and premium cork split grip handles that provide an incredible feel, as well as, Daiwa original hook keepers that are placed below the grip to keep your lures secure but not interfere with line flow. Available in a wide selection of custom designed sizes and actions, the Daiwa Steez AGS Casting Rods provide next-level innovation, performance, and quality.

Comments: I'm not sure why the reviews below me are spreading false information about daiwa and the replacement of the age guides. I've owned both versions of the bottom contact rod and over the years have broken a guide on each. You mail the rod back to daiwa and they replace the guide free of charge. The rod looks new when returned within three weeks. I own all the high end rods. Conquest, NRX, P5s and the list goes on. These new steez rods are the real deal. I wouldn' give up my bottom contact 2 for anything. As for the AGS guides, they are just part of the deal. If you break one, they replace it. End of story. Worst you're out is a $20 shipping charge.

Comments: Previous guy is correct: Daiwa won't replace AGS guides. It's sad to make such quality products and, in a way, not stand behind them by not replacing parts as critical as AGS line guides.

Comments: BEFORE PURCHASING, I'd strongly suggest you consider otherwise. I've purchased a few Steez AGS rods and have had a couple guides break. Daiwa won't sell you replacement guides, which is a huge disappointment after spending so much money for a top of the line rod. If I knew this beforehand I would have gone with a different manufacturer.

Comments: I own several very high end fishing rods, Loomis NRX, Megabass Evoluzions, Jackall Adrenas and several more and Daiwa BLX's, and the older Daiwa Steez AGS rods, But the New AGS rods are Amazing, sensitivity Like no other, if you take your Fishing seriously like I do, Put one in your hands, and you will see what I'm talking about. You will not be Disappointed, you cannot put a price on Quality!!!!
