Optimized for effectively fishing crankbaits from shallow to deep, the Lew's KVD Elite Cranking Casting Rods are built on composite IM8 graphite/fiberglass blanks that deliver the perfect combination of flex and feel. Engineered using multi-layered FOCAS technology for less heft along with increased tip strength and overall durability and sensitivity, each KVD Elite Cranking Rod wears lightweight stainless-steel guides fitted with zirconia inserts to promote long-distance casts when you need to cover water in a hurry.
Sporting high-density EVA grips, KVD Elite Cranking Rods have been revised with longer handle lengths for greater comfort, control, and two-handed casting ease. Additionally, the proprietary Full Contact reel seats provide excellent ergonomics and a massive cutout that further amplifies sensitivity. Crafted with input from Kevin VanDam and finished in a slick red and matte-black color scheme, the Lew's KVD Elite Cranking Casting Rods are ideal for everything from lipless to deep-diving baits.
