Comments: I purchased the 72 medium. its not a bad rod. a little heavy for my taste. I also have the daiwa rebellion 7 medium. and in comparison, id get the rebellion 10/10 times!! it is a lot lighter, more sensitive and isn't tip heavy!

Comments: I bought the 7'4" MH bladed jig rod, and it is perfect. It was engineered to absolute perfection. I went from missing and losing fish constantly on bladed jigs, then changed only the rod I used them on, too this one, and haven't lost a fish yet. I have had a couple, questionable hooksets, hookups, and catches, but no losses. I caught over 9 pounds of bass in 5 minutes with chatter bait on this rod. I have had fish bite 5 feet from me, and as soon as it hit the water 100 feet from me, and always had the same result. Fish catch. If you're considering this, or something else, I would almost always say this.

Comments: I was looking for another Daiwa rod to replace my 7'2'' MH Glass Cranking Tatula rod and I found it. I went with the 7'4'' MH Brent Ehrler rod for my bladed jigs and I'm really satisfied. The regular Tatula ''glass rods'' are probably twice the weight and the tip-heaviness of the B.E. one. It's a ''glass'' rod, so I kept in mind, when I ordered the rod, that it wouldn't be super well-balanced and it isn't, but it's really not that bad and it's worth the benefits of the action that the glass brings.

Comments: Got the 7' and 7'4" rods. 7' for 1.5 squarebills and 7'4" for chatterbait, spinner, midsize crank, and bombing 1.5 cranks. knowing these are glass rods. theyre heavy. bulky. tip heavy. not sensitive. but these rod do there job. they keep the vibration at minimal. backbone and tip does all the work at keeping the fish pinned and assorb the head shakes. will be getting the 8' soon to put into my arsenal.

Comments: I went with the 7' Med Aird X rod and it is excellent. This rod is very sensitive and extremely light. I dare others to find a better rod than this one for this price point. Daiwa produces quality products and this is just one of many I will be adding to the arsenal.

Comments: Excellent rod. I bought the 7'ˇ MH glass and it felt kinda Wippy when I unpackaged it. I screwed on reel, stuck On shallow and med diving crank and it has great tip And backbone. Super smooth casting so far just 2lb bass Caught and handled them great.

Comments: I picked up the 7'2" MH Tatula Glass Cranking rod to compliment my 6'10" MH/F Tatula rod. I fish my crankbaits and poppers exclusively on this rod, but I also find it has enough backbone to fish up to a 1/2oz spinnerbait or a bladed jig as well. I paired it up with a Tatula SV reel and 17lb Suffix Siege line and it casts exceptionally well.

While this rod is not as versatile as a MH/F rod overall, I almost wish I got this rod first because it's great for the lures I bought it for which I fish often.

Comments: I have purchased 9 of the Tatula Elite rods now and really like the feel of all of them but 1... The 7'4" Glass feels like holding a golf club. It's the only Tatula Elite rod that I've felt that's not balanced correctly. This is bad tip heavy. Obviously Brent likes it but I had to return it. All the others I've purchased is the regular blanks and AGS models. These are great!!! I'll be ordering more, just not anymore of these glass models.

From: Darren: NC 7/27/17

Comments: Love the rod but this is NOT a MH. More like a heavy action. No tip whatsoever in this rod. Sad. A MH GLASS cranking rod should have a softer tip then this. Even the overall bend. Disappointed because this would be the perfect cranking rod if it was a little softer throughout. Again especially in the tip. I could see this being a great chatterbait rod though. Disagreeing with Ehrler on this rod as far as cranking goes. Daiwa please come out with a softer version for the true crankbait fisherman. A rod that's designed specifically for cranking and nothing else. A glass rod with a softer action. Please. I'm begging you. patiently awaiting takahiros 7 MH and will also check out the other rod Brent designed but this 7'4 H doesn't have enough soul to be a true cranking rod.

Comments: I have the 7'4" MH Glass and it is a little tip heavy, but when im using it its not anything i notice since i do all tip down techniques with it.  It is my designated chatterbait rod and have a tatula sv mounted on it, balance point it just in front of the hook keeper. This is the best chatterbait rod i have fished yet, and i have tried a bunch. I did manage to try a spro rock crawler on it just to see how it was as an actual crank rod and it did very well, caught a bunch of fish from 1lb to 4lbs on it. Most inhaled the bait so had no problem keeping those on, but a couple did only have one hook and the rod did awesome keeping them pinned. I will be picking up a second one of these for cranking now. Great rod, if you can get past it being a bit tip heavy, although for tip down techniques.

Comments: I bought the 7'4" glass rod after reading the first review on here that the 8' is a good cranking rod. Well, this 7'4"MH glass rod is about 3X heavier than the 7'4"MH graphite Randy Howell model. This glass model is bad tip heavy also, even though you crank with the tip down, this one disappointed me. I have 7 other models in the Tatula Elite line that are perfection. I just can't see using this 7'4" glass model.... very unbalanced. I'll return this one and replace it with a different model, Tatula Elite rod. Just thought I'd mention it.

Comments: Great rod for deep divers. I have the 8' and it works a c20 great. Maybe a little underpowered for a C25 or 10XX though.
