Arbogast
Fred Arbogast was one of the true pioneers of the fishing lure industry. As with so many who enter the lure business, it began as a hobby. Arbogast began by carving lures for himself and friends while employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. As his lures began to become popular with area anglers, some of the local tackle shops began asking if they could buy them to sell in their stores. Soon after, Arbogast became aware that he was really on to something. Armed with this new-found popularity and confidence in his lures, he resigned from Goodyear and decided to enter the lure business in 1926. Two years later, the Fred Arbogast Company was officially formed.

Bobby Garland
Soft-plastics pioneer Bobby Garland focused on bass bait designs early in his career, but later in life rekindled a passion for crappie fishing and turned his interest to crappie lures. A personal favorite creation was his 2-inch Baby Shad, featuring a minnow-like body with a lively long tail, a design that quickly spread in popularity throughout Missouri and then into neighboring states and beyond. Although Mr. Garland passed before he got to see the Baby Shad become one of the country's top-selling plastic crappie baits, his name will live on forever in the annals of crappie fishing because of the design. In September 2019, Bobby Garland became part of PRADCO Outdoor Brands.
Bomber Lures
Bomber began with a vision. A vision Ralph Wham had for a fishing lure that could dive deep and be fished quickly through the thick wood cover of emerging Texas reservoirs. The vision came to life when Mr. Wham carved the first Bomber crankbait out of cedar in 1944. Bomber went into full production in 1947 in Gainsville Texas and has been delivering fish catching designs for more than seventy years. Maker's of the Fat Free Shad, Model A, Long A and many other lures that have produced many memories of fish of a lifetime catches and historical tournament wins. Anglers and fish alike know the power of Bomber.
